The Experience

What a joy and privilege to be part of the Experience 2021. In December I made the trip to Lagos, Nigeria and joined the great congregation gathered to be part of a whole night of worship starting at 8pm and finishing at 6am. Wave after wave of worship from around the world sustained the throng of worshippers as they gave, sang and danced. Everyone was so thankful to be together again after 2 years of COVID. The last live Experience event was attended by 800,000 people. For Experience 2021 over 2 million people watched online. It was wonderful to hear so many anthems from Africa. The event was hosted by founders Pastor Paul Adafarisin and Pastor Ifine Adafarisin and held at the House on the Rock Church in Lagos. Worship leaders included Sinach, Nathaniel Bassey, Donnie McClurkin, Travis Greene, Chandler Moore (Maverick City) Dunsin Oyekan, Onos Ariyo and Tim Godfrey. I was reminded of the verse in Habakkuk 1 v 5: ‘Look at the Nations and watch - and be utterly amazed. For I am doing something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told’ .
